Our V951L series latches have been very popular over the years (in fact they still are) and have been designed to provide an adjustable, high-performance method ideal for securing machine and equipment parts that must be opened or removed frequently. Typically used in a variety of applications including HVAC systems, agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, trucks and much more, we now have a new lift spring to be used with all of our open based type latches from the V951L series.
When riveting the latch, just simply add the lift spring V951L61 underneath the latch to enable the lift feature. It’s that straightforward!
The new lift spring is an additional feature, but the latch can still be operated with or without the spring. The purpose of the lift spring is to keep the latch in an open position, should the application require this feature.
